The 36 Degrees Investment Opportunities Fund PCC Limited is an Experienced Investor Fund (EIF) and is structured as a Protected Cell Company (PCC).
The first sub-fund is the 36 Degrees Value Opportunities Sub-Fund which is an open-ended investment vehicle which will invest in closed-ended funds (CEFs). These CEF’s are listed investment companies with their own boards and managers. There are over a thousand CEF’s and some $600bn under management, which a vast range of investment objectives managed by experienced managers.
The 36 Degrees Value Opportunities Sub-Fund seeks to achieve a positive absolute return exceeding that of the MSCI-World Index by generally investing approximately 80% of its assets in the listed securities of closed-end equity investment funds and 20% of its assets in the listed securities of companies and open-ended investment vehicles, treasury bills, cash and bonds.
